Kids who ‘don’t believe in Bigfoot’ left screaming in fear as dad pranks them

A dad left children running and screaming in fear as he emerged from the woods behind their home dressed as Bigfoot after they said they didn’t believe the creature existed.

Cousins Morgan Blue and Veronica White hatched a plan to scare their respective sons Brydger, 7, and Braxton, 10, and the video of their terrified reactions has now gone viral.

After Morgan ordered a Bigfoot Halloween costume online, her husband Alex dressed up and hid in the trees at the back of their home before running at the children.

The clip shared on Facebook shows one of the children suddenly run, screaming: “Bigfoot, no. It’s Bigfoot, I swear” as the others join in trying to flee.

And it seemed to go exactly how Morgan had hoped, as she said: “We were laughing so hard we were all in tears.

“When they realised even the kids were laughing because they knew we had got them good.

“At first Braxton didn’t notice Alex in the costume until he made a noise and started shaking a branch. But as soon as he saw him he started running over screaming ‘it’s Bigfoot I swear’.”

The cousins, who are also neighbours, live on a 150 acre plot of land with a creek, and when the children called to say they were stuck, they seized the opportunity to carry out the plan.

Veronica said: “We had been planning on pranking them with the Bigfoot costume and we were finally able to get them.

“In these parts and in Louisiana, people say there is a Bigfoot on the loose and go out hunting Bigfoot. Morgan always says as a joke to the boys when they go out to play – ‘don’t let Big Foot get ya!’

“The boys were a bit sceptical that he exists so we came up with a plan to prank them about a month ago but we hadn’t got the chance until now.”

After the video was shared more than 44,000 times on Facebook, Morgan added: “We had no idea that it was going to go viral. It’s the best $100 I’ve ever spent.”
